Landscape Paintings
Horizontal Line – the most basic of the elements of art and design. By the simple connecting dots in a flowing motion, I can create a landscape using textures and patterns. Line exists in many states: it can be thick or thin; curved or geometric; agitated or flowing in restful arcs; horizontal, vertical, or diagonal. It can act as a visual language by describing the world around us, permitting a visual imitation of reality. These landscape are painted from memory and photographs.
