Contemporary wall art sculptures inspired by natural materials.
I am a painter and printmaker venturing into the realm of sculpture. In this new series of sculptures, I am creating works that emulate seed shapes that oscillate between drawing and sculpture. I am soldering abstracted seed-pod shapes that resemble seeds being scattered in the wind. To me, they are three-dimensional drawings in space and I am captivated by the idea that seeds contain everything necessary to grow in to a plant as a microcosm.
